Explore Cityview's Private Events

For more than two decades, CityView has held a distinct place in Long Island City. People return for the quality of the tennis, squash, and padel, but also for the atmosphere. Guests are not walking into a generic event venue.

They are stepping into a club with its own character, its own rhythm, and a real sense of hospitality. Whatever the occasion, we shape the event around the people attending and make sure it feels easy, personal, and well hosted from the moment guests arrive.

Courtside Events

No two private events should feel the same. Some groups want open play and a social atmosphere. Others want coaching, guided matches, clinics, or a more structured tournament format. Some want the day to stay centered on the courts. Others want to combine court time with time upstairs in the lounge or access to the club's wellness amenities.

We host private events for tennis, squash, and padel, whether that means one sport or a mix of all three. The sport, court count, pacing, and overall format are tailored to the group.

Our event tiers are court-based. They are built around court access, programming, and event flow. Food and beverage are selected separately, which gives each client the freedom to build the hospitality side of the event around their own priorities.

Beyond the Courts

CityView offers more than court time. The club also includes a broader set of spaces that can give an event more depth, more flexibility, and a natural flow from one part of the experience to the next.

That can include the contrast therapy spa, wet and dry sauna, and the upstairs members' lounge. The lounge includes a fully stocked wet bar, pool table, fireplace, and high-definition audiovisual setup, and works beautifully before or after play for drinks, presentations, speeches, watch parties, or a more relaxed close to the event.

All events begin with Perusing our Tier and Catering Options.

In-House Catering

Food and beverage is available as an optional, separate addition to the court-based event tiers. This allows clients to shape the hospitality side of the event in a way that fits both the group and the occasion.

For some events, that may mean simple refreshments or a hosted bar. For others, it may be passed bites, a sit-down meal, a buffet with a carving station, or a custom bar setup. Keeping food and beverage separate allows the event to stay flexible and lets each client build the experience around what matters most to them.
