Tom joined CityView Racquet Club in 2022 and serves as Member Services
Director. He previously spent 27 years with a metropolitan New York police department, retiring in 2012 as Commanding Officer of the Detective Division.
Following his law enforcement career, Tom founded a New York City–based private investigation firm. In 2018, he became General Manager of the prestigious Town Tennis Club in Midtown East, a role he held until transitioning to CityView. He brings decades of leadership, operational expertise, and member-focused service to the CityView
community.

Juan Carlos Parker

Juan Carlos Parker, born in Peru, has over seventeen years of experience as a tennis instructor. Parker ranks among the most highly respected tennis professionals and competitors in the industry. As an extraordinary tennis player in his own right, Parker played on the winning team in the prestigious Huggy Bear Invitational in Southampton, New York in 2005. In 2006, Parker won the National Men's Open, 25s, and 35s Singles.
Timmy Leon

Timmy is a native New Yorker. He grew up playing and spending many hours at the National Tennis Center, home of the U.S. Open. In college, he played both singles and doubles for his team, contributing to multiple berths in the NCAA Tournament. Prior to coming to CityView, he taught locally and had a brief stint working abroad in England. He is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional.
Fredrik Jonsson
Tennis Professional
Fredrik Jonsson, born of Malmo, Sweden is an accomplished tennis instructor with an education from the Swedish National Tennis Academy. Fredrik has competed in all 4 Grand Slams, reaching the 3rd round in the US Open. He was a Member of the Swedish Davis Cup team. Fredrik has been ranked number 14 in the world in juniors and in the top 100 in the World's ATP ranking. Also to be noted is his number 1 junior ranking in his native country of Sweden. With this ranking, he represented Sweden in the Junior World Championship in New Zealand where the team placed 3rd. Fredrick has also competed and played against some of the best players in the world: Roger Federer, Y. Kafelnikov, Marcelo Rios, Nicolas Lapenti, Tommy Robredo, Ivanisevic and Todd Martin, just to name a few. Fredrick has become one of the most highly sought after teaching tennis professionals and is a great asset to the CityView team.
Shweta Rana

Shweta Rana joined CityView in September 2021. A former Top-500 WTA player and the No. 3–ranked woman in India, she held the No. 1 junior ranking in both Asia and India,
won two ITF World Tour women’s titles, and represented India in Junior and Senior Fed Cup competition as well as the Asian Games in Seoul.
Shweta’s coaching philosophy is grounded in effort and commitment—believing that results directly reflect the work a player puts in over time. Her favorite skill to teach is the
two-handed backhand, one of her strengths throughout her career. Energetic and nurturing, she loves seeing players execute patterns they’ve been working on. Her
teaching motto is “Practice what you want to become.”

Jeff Amurao
Junior Elite Performance Director / Tennis Professional
New Programs Director, Jeff Amurao has established himself as one of New York City's most respected director/coaches. Jeff played NCAA D-1 tennis at Georgetown University, and is a USPTA Elite Level/PTR Pro certified coach with an emphasis in technical player development and high-performance training. He is the founder and program director of multiple tournament level junior and adult programs in NYC and was most recently the Director of Tennis and Head of High Performance at the McCarren Tennis Center in Brooklyn. He is also the current Head of Tennis at the prestigious Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn. An agile communicator equipped with a depth of tennis knowledge, Jeff enjoys working with players of all levels, from tournament caliber to beginners, as well as players returning to the game.
Ricardo Saad-Berreta

Ricky Saad joined CityView Racquet Club in October 2025. A former Division I player for the Davidson Wildcats, he was a four-year starter with 39 career wins and has spent his life immersed in tennis, recently falling in love with padel.
Ricky’s coaching philosophy centers on strong fundamentals, both technical and tactical, helping players build correct mechanics, understand patterns of play, and confidently impose their strengths. His favorite skills to teach are footwork and creating space, which he sees as the foundation of great movement and smart shot-making.
Gregarious, passionate, and thorough, Ricky brings energy and intention to every lesson. His teaching motto, inspired by Bruce Lee, is: “The purpose of technique is to have no technique.” Off court, he’s an experienced tech founder and investor who enjoys exploring emerging technologies and supporting young founders.
Daniel Alonte

Danny is from Milwaukee, WI. As a ranked Junior he played tournaments throughout the Midwest. He played at Seward Community College KS, where he competed in the NJCASS doubles quarterfinals in his freshman year. He has played in multiple ITF tournaments, which included brackets in the Dominican Republic and Egypt, 2018 – 2023. Danny worked as the Varsity Tennis coach at Grace Church School, NYC, and is currently focused on teaching the sport he loves, tennis.
Kirk Moritz

Kirk Moritz has carved out a sterling reputation in the East Coast US tennis community over the past three decades as an instructor, and as a player. Kirk is well-known as a mentor and teacher, and has achieved and maintained a high rank as a junior, collegiate, and was recently inducted to the Columbia University Athletics Hall of Fame for Tennis. In addition to his national and international playing background, he has coached for the US State Department in Africa including training with members of the Moroccan Davis Cup Team.
Alex Asta

Alex attained a #5 ranking as a junior in his native country, Argentina. As a teenager, Alex played on the professional tennis tour which predominantly consisted of futures and challenger circuits. During this time, Alex worked as a teaching pro in order to finance his dream to excel and compete on tour. Alex played ATP, Eastern and National tournaments. Alex attained a #1 ranking in the Men's eastern section from 2000-2002. After he stopped playing professionally, Alex worked as a teaching pro at Stadium Racquet Club. Alex coordinated junior programs at Stadium for two years. Alex assisted Patrick McEnroe in promoting World Team Tennis in 2001 and participated in exhibition matches. Alex trained with John McEnroe, Patrick McEnroe, Jim Courier, Mark Knowles, Vince Spadea, and James Blake among others.
Jared Woodson

Jared hails from Hilton Head, South Carolina where he was a decorated junior tennis player who participated in Orange Bowl, Easter Bowl and Super Nationals. He was the youngest player to receive a full scholarship to The van Der Meer Academy, SC. Jared was a 3 -time high school state champion and played Division 1 tennis at Eastern Illinois University, where he was team captain. Jared played #2 Singles, #1 Doubles for the Panthers. As an instructor, he has received his training from Dennis Van Der Meer, where he learned biomechanics, methodically, and techniques. His coaching style is fun, energetic and enlightening. Daniel Montes de Oca

Daniel Montes de Oca is known for his skill both on the court and behind the scenes as a highly sought after mentor and teacher. Daniel began his tennis career in his native Uruguay as both a Junior and Davis Cup Team Member. He has achieved a number one ranking in the Men's 35 USA 2000 and held a position on the USA Italia Cup team in 2001. Daniel's skill as a tennis professional has been complemented quite early on in his career by an equally outstanding career as a teaching pro, most recently in Southampton – East Hampton and at Tennisport, LIC.

Tyler Dorn has been coaching at CityView since April 2023. A former All-Conference Division I player at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, he played No. 1 singles and doubles and brings that experience into his coaching.
His approach is simple and practical, breaking tennis down into clear, efficient steps players can actually use. Patient, down to earth, and a great listener, Tyler believes “tennis starts ground up”. He also loves teaching the topspin forehand and seeing the moment when it clicks. When he’s not on court, he enjoys working out and spending time
with friends and family.
Tijana Koprivica

Neda, is a native of Serbia who has played professional tennis, and is a USPTA certified coach. She started playing tennis at the age of 12. During her playing career, she had recorded wins against Jelena Jankovic and Mona Barthel while achieving a WTA ranking of 399 in singles and 219 in doubles. Her coaching accolades include being an adviser to pro players Aleksandra Krunic, Jankovic, Georgina Garcia Perez and other highly ranked singles and doubles players on the WTA tour, professional junior tour. Neda is a certified USPTA certified coach. Her vast experience, and passion for tennis has led her to be a highly respected tennis coach. She teaches students of all levels with terrific energy.

Maxime Mora joined CityView in December 2025. A former professional tennis player
from France, Max grew up training in Spain and reached a career-high ATP ranking of 590 before transitioning to padel two years ago. After learning and competing in Spain, he now brings his international experience to CityView and Brisas.
For Max, sport is a true passion, not just a profession. His coaching focuses on helping players enjoy the game while improving as much as possible, with a special emphasis
on volleys, footwork, and the transition from defense to attack.

Eduardo Cabrera

Eduardo Cabrera joined CityView in October 2025, bringing years of tennis experience and a genuine passion for padel, one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
Originally from Colombia, Eduardo has a strong competitive background, having played Futures and Challengers, and has coached players of all ages and levels privately in
NYC and the Hamptons.
His coaching focuses on building solid fundamentals, smart shot selection, and confident decision-making, all while keeping the game fun and dynamic. Eduardo especially
enjoys teaching volleys and net play, helping players feel comfortable and aggressive at the net.

Szabin Pusztay

Szabin Pusztay joined CityView in January 2026. He grew up playing tennis in Hungary, moved to the U.S. at 18 to play college tennis, and has since spent six years coaching tennis and two years coaching padel in New York.
His coaching is focused on consistent improvement and helping players work toward long-term goals. Szabin enjoys teaching volleys and overheads, and loves the moment
when a player hits a big smash. Easygoing, friendly, and driven, he lives by the motto “Give your 100%.” When he’s not on court, he enjoys exploring different spots around

Mostafa Essam
Director
Mostafa began his squash career at 8 years old at the El Ahly Squash Club in Egypt. He won nationals for U13, U15, U17, and U19, and went on to play for the national team that placed second the 2002 World Championships and third in 2003. As a junior, Mostafa rose to #3 in the world, and was in the top 100 as a pro. He then moved to the U.S. to serve as an Assistant Coach at Heights Casino Squash Club from 2008-2013, before opening Corner Squash. Mostafa also was the U.S. national team coach from 2015-2019.
Ashraf Yassin

Ashraf Yassin is the Head Coach of Corner Squash Academy and a U.S. National Junior Squash Coach, bringing over 15 years of experience in high-performance squash
coaching. A Level Two certified coach, Ashraf is widely recognized for his strategic approach to player development, combining technical precision with mental resilience
and team culture.
Ashraf’s coaching expertise spans advanced training strategies, player assessment, drill design, video analysis, mental coaching, and team dynamics, allowing him to tailor
programs that maximize individual potential. He has successfully coached top-ranked U.S. national junior players, mentored elite collegiate athletes who went on to compete for leading Ivy League programs, and worked with top Egyptian professional squash
players achieving world-class international rankings.
As a former elite competitor, Ashraf brings firsthand experience at the highest levels of the game. His playing career highlights include achieving a career-high U.S. rating of
7.01, reaching a Top 10 U.S. Men’s National Ranking, winning the 2023 U.S. Masters Squash Championship (Over 35), and finishing as runner-up in 2024. This competitive pedigree deeply informs his coaching philosophy, bridging performance insight with long-term athlete development.
Ashraf is passionate about building confident, disciplined, and adaptable players, and continues to shape the next generation of squash athletes through innovative coaching and proven leadership.
Yassine Elattal

Yassine Elattal joined CityView in June 2025. A competitive squash player and full-time coach, he has extensive experience working with junior athletes and developing strong
fundamentals.
Yassine focuses on helping players enjoy every rally while improving their
decision-making and consistency. He especially loves teaching drops and seeing players use practiced skills successfully in match play. Focused, supportive, and disciplined, he
coaches with the motto “Train with purpose.”

Hazem Abouelsoud

Hazem Abouelsoud joined CityView in July 2024. A former Egyptian National Team player, he has won more than 25 national squash tournaments and previously served as Assistant Coach to current World No. 1 Mostafa Asal.
Hazem focuses on building champions both on and off the court, with a coaching style centered on discipline, development, and strong values. His favorite skill to teach is the
volley, and he loves seeing his students compete with confidence and good sportsmanship. Patient, dedicated, and highly specialized, Hazem coaches with the motto “Train to dominate, not to win.”

Samir Eldegwi

samir El Degwi joined CityView in August 2024 and brings over a decade of experience in squash-specific strength and conditioning. Working in the sport since 2011, he has trained elite and professional players including World Champion Tarek Momen and former World No. 7 Salma Hany, and is currently part of the USA Squash High Performance Team.
Samir specializes in movement efficiency and conditioning for match performance, with a focus on long-term development and competitive success. Disciplined, committed, and
supportive, he loves seeing players believe in themselves and compete with confidence. His coaching motto is “Prepare the body, trust the game.”
Off court, he enjoys staying active, learning, and planning smarter training.
Gabriella Csokasi

Gabriella Csokasi joined CityView in June 2023. A touring squash professional, she was the No. 1 player in Hungary for over five years and is currently ranked No. 2, actively
representing Hungary in international competition with a world ranking of 217.
Gabriella’s coaching emphasizes consistency and mental preparation, helping players compete with confidence and adapt under pressure. She enjoys teaching match-realistic
drills and is known for her positive, caring, and supportive approach. Her teaching motto is “A strong mindset and confident body language are half of the victory.”
